A Legacy of Love and Hospitality
Growing up in a humble, vibrant household, I learned that love was often expressed around the table. Even when we had little, my family welcomed guests with open arms and home-cooked meals—a simple way of saying, “You are valued. You are loved.”
That upbringing is at the heart of Suspiro Wines. Today, I’m grateful to carry that spirit forward with our daughters’ artwork on our labels and our 2024 Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir, made from grapes grown at Rancho El Adobe—the vineyard where I grew up among the vines from the age of five.
Connecting my childhood with the family we’re raising today, each bottle is an invitation to gather, share, and feel at home.

A Name Born of Destiny
The story of Suspiro began with a song—and a little serendipity.
After countless days of searching for a name that felt true to our vision, inspiration arrived in the lyrics of a Mexican song playing on the radio. One word stayed with me: suspiro, Spanish for “sigh.” A breath filled with feeling—a moment to pause, reflect, and dream.
Later that same day, my wife told me about a sign she had come across bearing the word “sigh.” That unexpected connection made us pause. We knew we had found our name.
Suspiro captures the heart of our journey: the challenges, the celebrations, and the hopes that carry us forward. Each bottle is a reflection of the life we’re building and the stories we’re proud to share.
